Hi snippet tribe This is a good news snippet-last year we ran a fund raiser which proved to be not very good as we only raised $50 .00 ( this was further reduced by an unknown person who devoured the left over profiteroles)-still a good hangover was achieved by many and long lasting sore feet by others. In honour of the afflicted we have decided to recognise this great effort by announcing the:- Inaugural not very good(cut price) memorial glitterati ball A special profiterole guarding security firm has been approached as we need to keep the $50.00 this time around. The date has been set for Saturday 28 th October (make big mark in diary) and at great expense we have again secured the internationally prestige venue of the Bellevue Hotel. The menu is being organised ,although the stuffed Rosella option has already been rejected. There will be music-and maybe a celebrity appearance by Ms Murtle Twigworthy who is currently doing Celebrity 101 at JCU. Seriously folk this is for all of you to come along ,and have a ripping good time (its written into our Charter!)-we need your support to eat, drink, dance, sing?, and be merry.(if that all a bit much -any one of them will do) Numerous people are awaiting an invite from Prince Charming or Princess Beautiful--------------------(or anyone) We will advise on price etc shortly and we could always use a little help with ideas, decorating ,advertising, entertaining, acquiring profiteroles,etc ---and if you would like to join in just contact via this email( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
