| Acoustic Pop band that plays its own songs and cannot be pidgeon holed as we do not own pidgeons |
We are a local band that has been together for around a year and play our own songs. Currently members are Sophie Thompson who plays Keyboards and Vocals Jemma Green who is on Bass Richard Ryall who plays Guitar and does Vocals Judy Brennan who is vocals and percussion Leanne Wagner who is also on keyboards Now we are 5 and proud of it, beware of us slowly taking over the world. We mainly play original songs written by Richard Ryall and we are up to 108 at present.We recently lost our Violin and Flute person, Bronwyn Todd who shall be dearly missed. But its ok we found that she is alive and well and living in Canberra. We have played at the Martas Gallery a number of times, The Palm Creek Folk Festival, The River Festival and the Northern Beaches Festival.....mmm lots of Festivals. Also represented at Finnegans in a different configaration. As well as various private parties and weddings.
We are looking to play locally and also out of town. We feel that two gigs a month are ample for us as we just want to play and not have it turn into work. It is supposed to be fun and we will also play for free if asked nicely.
